Information BuildFPS stores
The current version of BuildFPS does not require an account and does not ask for a name, address, or payment details. When you use “Save build,” the selected component IDs and test settings are stored in your browser’s local storage on your device. BuildFPS does not receive that saved build automatically.
Shared build links
The “Share build” feature places selected part IDs and simulator settings in the page URL. Anyone who receives that URL can view those selections. Do not place personal information in a shared link.
Technical logs and hosting
The hosting provider may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, request time, requested page, and error logs to deliver and secure the website. The exact retention and location of those logs depend on the hosting provider selected for the public release.
Retailer and affiliate links
When you follow a link to Amazon or another retailer, that third party receives the request and applies its own privacy and cookie policies. BuildFPS does not control the retailer’s checkout, account, payment, or tracking systems.
Future analytics
BuildFPS does not currently describe any third-party analytics service because one has not been enabled. If analytics, advertising, accounts, or a contact form are added, this policy will be updated before those features are used publicly.
Your choices
You can remove a saved build by clearing this site’s local storage in your browser. You can also use the simulator without saving a build or following retailer links.
